Questions
Before you book.
Do you take walk-ins?
When a chair is free, yes. Weekends and after 4pm on weekdays fill up though, so booking is the only way to be sure — it takes under a minute and shows you every open slot for the week.
Where do I park?
There’s free street parking along Union Road and in the surrounding side streets, plus the Union Road car park a short walk away. Surrey Hills station is a few minutes on foot.
How long does a fade hold its shape?
A skin fade looks its sharpest for about two weeks and still looks tidy at three. A tapered fade grows out more gently and will hold for three to four weeks. We cut the taper with the grow-out in mind, not just the day.
What if I don’t know what to ask for?
Most people don’t, and that’s fine. Bring a photo if you have one, or just tell us what you didn’t like about the last cut. We’ll talk through what actually suits your hair and head shape before anything is switched on.
Do you cut kids' hair?
Yes. Under 12s have their own rate and we take the time it needs — first haircuts included. If they’re nervous, tell us when you book and we’ll allow extra time.
How do I pay, and what’s the cash discount?
Cash, card or phone, paid in the shop after the cut — booking online never asks for card details. Every service on the menu is $10 cheaper if you pay cash, so a $60 skin fade is $50 in hand.
